Kate brings over fifteen years of professional and volunteer service to the not-for-profit community. She has been involved in meeting planning since 1993, and became an independent planner by establishing Ryan Resource in 1997.

Kate earned her bachelor's degree in American History from the University of Chicago, with a minor in the history of science. Ryan Resource is a member of the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce.
